Terms of Service

These terms are a contract between you and ME ASPECT LTD (company number 14471480, registered office Unit 10 EDEAL Business Centre, Dittons Park, Dittons Road, Polegate, BN26 6HY), trading as MarginLens. By creating an account or connecting your Amazon Seller Central account, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle data and forms part of these terms.

Business use only

MarginLens is provided to businesses and sole traders for business purposes. It is not offered to consumers, and consumer protection rules that apply only to consumers do not apply to it. By signing up you confirm you are acting in the course of a business.

The service

MarginLens reads sales, financial, fee, inventory, advertising and related data from your own Amazon Seller Central account, with your authorisation, and presents it as dashboards, reports and alerts. It does not place orders, change listings or prices, or take any other action on your Amazon account. It reads.

Your account

• Keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• You must have authority to connect the Amazon account you connect — as its owner or an authorised user.
• You can revoke MarginLens's access at any time from Seller Central's "Manage your apps" page, and can ask us to delete your account and data at any time (see the Privacy Policy for how and how quickly).

Free trial

Your 14-day free trial starts the moment you connect your Amazon account. No card is taken and nothing is charged during the trial. When the 14 days end, the trial simply ends; to keep using MarginLens you subscribe from within the app. Nothing is charged unless you do. One trial per Amazon seller account.

Subscriptions, billing and refunds

• There is one paid plan, billed in advance through Stripe either monthly or annually, at the price shown when you subscribe. We will give you at least 30 days' notice of any price change, which takes effect from your next billing date after that.
• You can cancel at any time from within the app or by emailing admin@marginlens.net.
• Cancelling stops all future charges. Your access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for, then ends.
• We do not give refunds for partial billing periods.
• Cancelling does not delete your data by itself; the Privacy Policy explains the 90-day rule and how to ask for immediate deletion.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Resell, sublicense or share access to MarginLens, or use one account for more than one business
• Reverse engineer, decompile or otherwise try to extract the source code of the service
• Scrape, crawl or otherwise access the service by automated means other than through features we provide for that purpose
• Use the service to break Amazon's own terms, or to do anything unlawful
• Interfere with the service or other customers' use of it, or attempt to access another customer's data

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. Where practical we will warn you first.

Amazon's own terms

Your use of Amazon Seller Central, the Selling Partner API and Amazon Ads remains governed by Amazon's terms and policies. MarginLens is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Amazon.

Figures are not advice

Everything MarginLens shows — profit, fees, VAT, payout estimates — is calculated from data Amazon provides and may include estimates, which the app labels as such. It is not financial, tax or legal advice. Check anything that matters against your own Amazon reports and take professional advice for tax filings and similar decisions.

No warranty, and the limit on our liability

MarginLens is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will suit your particular purpose, and we exclude any warranties implied by law to the extent the law allows.

To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data or business interruption, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for everything arising out of or in connection with these terms and the service, in contract, tort or otherwise, is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law.

Changes to the service or these terms

We may change the service, and these terms, from time to time. For a change to these terms that affects you materially we will tell you in the app or by email at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use MarginLens after that is acceptance of the change; if you do not accept it, cancel before it takes effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about them or the service.
